What aspect of the Educaring® Approach resonates with you the most and why?
Active Participant…this is so important to learning and integration with ones body and brain. I think that allowing the opportunity for acknowledgment of what is “done to” individuals and allowing that opportunity to respond is the core of all positive interactions.
What are you most grateful for?
The opportunity to offer to others different ideas that may work for them in their interactions with young children. I remember as a grandparent marveling in the time I simply watched my first grandson interact with the environment! Wow!
What is one thing you do for yourself?
I NEED sunshine in my life. I allow myself to soak up the sunshine where I can!
If your life was a book or song, what would the title be?
“Slow down, you move too fast”
What was your favorite book as a child?
The Little Engine that Could
What teacher inspired you the most?
How? My 4th grade teacher was so soft spoken and laughed a lot with us!! She made each of us feel special in her classroom. I even remember spending time sitting on her lap at her desk and telling her a story.
What 3 words best describe you?
Dedicated, Detail-oriented, Learner
What is the best question anyone has asked you?
“What could you do differently?”
