Toshi's Little Treasures

April 18, 2018

While we all wait for Spring to finally make a commitment to us, here is a book that may remind you and your child of the outdoor magic to come.

Toshi's Little Treasures

written by Nadine Robert,

illustrated by Aki

Toshi's Grandma gives him a backpack so that he has something to collect the treasures he finds on their outdoor adventures. He and his Grandma explore several areas, and at each location, Toshi finds a treasure. The locales are filled with a variety of interesting items and each one is labeled. On the pages that follow, the treasures are illustrated, and readers are asked to connect them to what they were originally. (i.e. an old bottle cap came from a bottle) Aki fills each page with simple, colorful drawings. Children will love finding new things each time they read the book.

Great for children ages 2-5.

Happy Spring! (My optimism will not be dashed!!)
