NEW DATE: "Boys will be Boys? What on earth does THAT mean?"
Time & Location
About The Event
Join us for an engaging conversation about what it means to raise healthy boys---physically, cognitively, and emotionally---in contemporary times. Annie Pezalla, professor of psychology at Hamline University, will facilitate the conversation and will share empirical research about the challenges and predictors of raising emotionally sensitive boys in environments that many have characterized as filled with "toxic masculinity." What does "healthy masculinity" look like? How can we encourage authenticity in our boys' expressions of themselves? Come with your ideas and your own stories. Annie is a mother of twin boys, and she will do the same.
Note: We will be meeting in the Community Room on the second floor, left of the elevator. There is no charge for this event but, registration is required as seating is limited.
