About The Event

It's sometimes hard to know what to say to children when they ask tough questions about what they are observing in their world. These questions seemingly come out of nowhere and can catch us off guard, especially while we are still processing what we are observing.

We hope you will join us in talking about the murder of George Floyd and the events that took place after that. How are you processing it all? Are there talking points around racial bias that would be helpful to bring in into discussions with your young children?

Please join us on Thursday, October 8th at 7 p.m. CST for we what we hope will be a lively online conversation in a safe space. Included in the discussion will be some resources that we hope will be helpful. Registration is required to receive the google meet link before the event. Rupa Ryan Kryzer will be our discussion leader for the evening.

Host Bio: Rupa Ryan Kryzer is an enthusiastic life-long learner who is currently completing her last semester of her Masters of Arts in Holistic Health through St. Catherine University. She has focused much of her course of study on racial and healing justice, and PLAY! In her free time, she loves doing anything active, and traveling, when she can.
