Children and Social Media: A Discussion on Sharing (Or Not).
Time & Location
About The Event
Social media has become woven into the fabric of our lives. It is all around us, whether we like to acknowledge it or not. How can we nurture and maintain respectful relationships in this era of ever-present technology? How does this impact our parenting? Our children? How does it influence the ways we interact with one another?
Help us kick off 2019 with this thought-provoking discussion! Bring a friend, coworker, or grandparent along with you and add your own unique insight and perspective to the evening's discussion. This event is available to you free of charge.*
Note: The center is located in a brick two-story building on the corner of Finn and Grand (entrance is off of Finn Avenue). Press the handicapped accessibility button outside the main door for entry. Doors will open at 5:35 p.m. Parking is available both on the street (watch the signage) and in a paid parking ramp (down one block from the center at the corner of Cretin and Grand).
*Please consider bringing a toothbrush for our Toothbrush for Toddler collection drive. All the toothbrushes/toothpaste will be given to children who are experiencing an emergency need across the globe.
